Music and Dinner EVENTS AT THE BLUE PELICAN CAFE
Hamptons is widely acknowledged as having one of the best daytime cafés in the Vale. What has become something of a best kept secret however is our regular music and dinner evenings.
Each event has a particular musical theme from jazz, Motown and musicals to opera and Swing. Our five course dinner is presented as a set menu as platters for sharing – equally good whether it’s just two of you or for a night out with friends where great food and good company are the essential ingredients. We present a different menu each evening and these are usually available the month before. Please call or e-mail if you would like to know the menu for a particular event.
Tickets can be purchased by telephone at 02920705391 or in person at Hamptons. Payment for tickets is due in full at the time of booking. Please note that tickets are non-refundable and non transferable.
If you are looking for a gift for the person who is impossible to buy for why not give them tickets to one of our music and dinner events. We will be happy to arrange vouchers for a specific event or a general voucher so the recipient can make their own choice.

Elvis Legacy

Mark Summers has toured the World performing as Elvis, appearing on stage, radio and television. Recently voted the “sexiest Elvis”, Mark performs all eras from the young ‘50s, through the Movies, the famous 1968 Comeback Special, the Las Vegas years through to the 1973 Aloha Special. With an impressive collection of costumes direct from the USA, Mark is totally authentic. At just 24 he is also one of only three Elvis tributes to be officially endorsed by the Official Elvis Presely Fan Club.

Back by popular demand – the fabulous Abbagirls return to Hamptons for another night of classic Abba hits. You’ll know the words to all the songs and the music will have you dancing in your seats — and around the tables! Abba’s music is enjoyed by millions of people around the world – even in royal circles. Apparently when Dancing Queen was played at a Windsor Castle event, the Queen said “I always try to dance when this song comes on because I am the Queen and I like to dance.” So whether it’s just two of you or for a night out with fellow dancing queens, this is a fabulous evening not to miss.

A Passage to India

We celebrate our seventh birthday with a special black tie, Indian themed evening. We head back in time to the days of the British Raj. The great and the good of Chandrapore are heading to the Monsoon Club – a haven of 1930’s chic. We’ll be entertained by the Keith Little Trio. Specialising in jazz and swing from the 30’s and 40’s in the style of Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw and others, this lively three piece also play up-beat jump ‘n’ jive numbers together with a wide repertoire of popular swing numbers. Throughout the evening we’ll be serving an Indian themed supper.

We're delighted to present a fantastic tribute to international star, heart throb and Welsh legend, Tom Jones. Glen Leon joins us for an evening that celebrates his music. Energetic and charismatic, Glen possesses a voice full of power and raw energy. He’s been described as the closest you’ll come to the voice of Tom Jones as well as the voice of a young Tom Jones.
